Our physicians and employees speak highly of the work environment at Main Line Health   JOB TITLE: HIM Systems Analyst   Job Summary: Defines, implements, and analyzes reports to monitor physician compliance with JCAHO and other regulatory agencies' chart completion requirements.  Provides educational materials and instruction for system users within HIM and ancillary departments.  Provides user training for physicians and staff.  Ensures that existing policies and procedures regarding operation of HIM systems meet HIPAA Regulations.  Provides ongoing analysis of department processes in order to implement and maintain the Health Information Management (HIM) computer systems.  Serves as team leader for HIM managers and supervisors to identify department needs and structure the computer applications to meet those needs.  Assists HIM Managers to identify resource requirements (equipment, and personnel) for MLH HIM departments.  Coordinates HIM/IS activities regarding testing and installation.  Assists in design and routing specifications for documents and reports used in HIM.  Assists with downtime procedures.   Essential Accountabilities:   Completes the Undictated Procedure Report for all acute care facilities by utilizing the RDP and Doc-Q-Manage interfaces to see if reports have been dictated per the MEC policy on undictated procedures.  The information is verified and recorded on an Excel spreadsheet.  This averages 60 hours during the two week cycle of the report and is split over the four acute care facilities in the health system and multiple MedQuist systems. Provides educational materials and instruction for system users within HIM and ancillary departments.  Provides user training for physicians and staff.  Acts as a liaison between the facility and Medquist when a problem arises with any aspect of the MedQuist software or system.  Involves contacting the appropriate people in MedQuist operations or the computer room to resolve issues and maintain proper work flow. Performs LCR integrity audits to maintain accuracy of the LCR.  Works in conjunction with Data Integrity Manager to verify and resolve instances of suspected or confirmed incorrect reports going to LCR.  Ensures SoftMed System Integrity by auditing the Softmed Locator and Chart Fact systems to make certain the information in these systems is correct.  This includes correcting deficiencies, errant locations, returning incomplete charts to the correct area for completion, and making certain deficiencies are of the correct type and assigned to the correct physician. Conducts SoftMed System Testing making certain that all platform upgrades work appropriately on all computers in the department.  This also includes software and printer installation and management.  Ensures that the ChartLink interface stays up and running correctly.  Provides maintenance of all aspects of the bar-coding system including hardware repair when necessary. Participates in DNFB Reduction/Management  by locating, identifying, or verifying information on the DNFB.  This includes locating missing charts or portions thereof, verifying the presence or absence of charts, and going to the floors or units to retrieve them to assist the coding process.  This also includes printing or verifying the presence of dictated reports within the MedQuist system. Works with the Patient Accounting staff to verify dates of treatment or any information that may assist their staff in resolving the billing issue.                     QUALIFICATIONS:   Education:  Minimum of an associates degree in Health Information Technology.  Must have knowledge of HIPAA regulations and regulatory requirements relating to chart completion.    Licensures & Certifications:  RHIT/RHIA certification required.                 Experience:  Five to seven years of progressive HIM experience (including hands-on transcription and chart tracking experience).  Must have knowledge of Siemens Patient Management, SoftMed Systems (ChartFact, ChartLocator, and ChartLink), and Medquist systems (RDP and Doc-Q-Manage).  45649

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
