The Role
As the RPS Sales Operations Specialist, you will act as a liaison to appropriate internal/external sales stakeholders to support targeted institutional sales outcomes by leveraging and applying knowledge of assigned area\(s\) of responsibility\.
Responsibilities
Action Oriented
+ Monitors, tracks and reports on all institutional sales data, which includes sales pipeline, forecast, budget, etc\.
+ Maintains sales platforms, which includes Salesforce, Tableau Software and LinkedIn Sales Navigator
+ Acts as a subject matter expert in sales data to provide recommendations and expertise to overall organization
+ Analyzes sales prospects utilizing solution selling abilities to prioritize and take action on the most viable sales opportunities\.
+ Identifies and recommends ideas for sales demonstrating solution selling
+ Obtains and analyzes competitive/marketing data
+ Acts as service liaison for service problems/questions and determines appropriate avenues for resolution, including partnering with the regional service team to troubleshoot service problems and guiding the sales support staff through sales processes
Relationship Management
+ Partners with internal sales stakeholders to support the achievement of targeted sales plans
+ Cultivates strong, sustainable business relationships with internal/external sales stakeholders to support the achievement of established sales goals
+ Collaborates with key internal/external stakeholders to gather and assess information needed to support requests and communications
Business Acumen
+ Maintains knowledge on current and emerging developments/trends, assesses the impact, and collaborates with management to incorporate new trends and developments in current and future solutions and strategy
+ Promotes and enhances organizational initiatives by positively influencing and supporting change management and/or departmental/enterprise initiatives
+ Performs and delivers on routine assignments/projects while simultaneously leveraging and applying knowledge of assigned area\(s\) of responsibility
+ Identifies and communicates to management process improvements that reduce workloads or improve quality

Requirements
Education
+ 4 Year/Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience \(4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor's\)
Experience
+ 1 \- 3\+ Years? experience in a sales environment that aligns with the responsibilities of this role
+ Ability to read, analyze and interpret both internal and external documents such as general media/publications, professional journals, technical procedures, governmental regulations, policies, proposals, and standard operating procedures
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills
+ Strong oral and written communication skills; ability to communicate effectively with others; good interpersonal skills
+ Apply concepts such as probability, statistics, modeling, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical solutions
+ Works with mathematical concepts such as averages and/or variances
+ Ability to evaluate information and the implications of a course of action or solution
+ Ability to interpret and apply common sense understanding to carry out a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
