The Role
The Sr Fixed/Fixed Indexed Annuities Marketing Consultant will provide subject matter expertise and direction on complex projects/initiatives for their assigned area\(s\) of responsibility\. S/he develops and implements strategic omni channel marketing programs and plans that result in measurable business goals and drive market awareness of Lincoln?s products and/or services for Fixed and Fixed Indexed Annuity \(FA/FIA\)\.
Critical Success Factors
+ Drive demand, usage and loyalty for products and processes through trimester campaigns, launches, education and industry leadership\.
+ In\-depth understanding FA/FIA market and distribution \(direct and in\-direct\), competition and tools
+ Develop and implement marketing strategies and capabilities to position the product portfolio aligned to specific audience needs
+ Partner and align with sales, relationship management, funds management and product to determine priorities to drive sales and other successful opportunities\.
+ Ability to lead direct and indirect teams and can influence at all levels within an organization\.
+ Must be able to effectively interact with all levels of management as well as other departments in a collaborative environment\.
+ Must understand the regulatory environment as it applies to state verification forms, sales kits, all marketing materials and compliance\.
Responsibilities
+ Maintains knowledge on current and emerging developments/trends for FA/FIA industry and marketplace\. Assesses the impact, and collaborates with senior management to incorporate new trends and developments in current and future solutions\.
+ Directs and enhances organizational initiatives by positively influencing and supporting change management and/or departmental/enterprise initiatives within assigned area\(s\) of responsibility\.
+ Translates the technical aspects of products into easily understood and compelling stories to ensure the message resonates effectively across multiple audiences\.
+ Identifies and directs the implementation of process improvements that significantly improve quality across the team, department and/or business unit for his/her assigned area\(s\) of responsibility\.
+ Provides subject matter expertise to team members and applicable internal/external stakeholders on complex assignments/projects for his/her assigned area\(s\) of responsibility\.
+ Provides direction on complex assignments, projects, and/or initiatives to build and enhance the capability of his/her assigned area\(s\) of responsibility\.
+ Develops and implements complex marketing plans, in collaboration with appropriate stakeholders, which are driven by assigned area\(s\) of responsibility?s business goals\.
+ Identifies and recommends solutions to marketing issues and/or concerns\.
+ Serves as a subject matter expert and partners with internal stakeholders to develop and implement new marketing approaches which enhance and maintain the competitive position of his/her assigned area\(s\) of responsibility in the marketplace\.
+ Attends National meetings to provide marketing insight, positioning of products, and teach product sales techniques and marketing tools\.
+ Creates related communications and marketing collateral, in collaboration with appropriate stakeholders, that support consistent enterprise core messaging and business goals for his/her assigned area\(s\) of responsibility\.
+ Communicates marketing plans and ensures they are understood by all stakeholders and team members\.
+ Ensures marketing collateral content is accurate, relevant, and consistent in terms of style, quality tone of voice, and which optimizes market awareness of Lincoln?s products and/or services\.
+ Builds relationships and partners with key stakeholders to elicit and capture marketing business goals and ensure all marketing tools, collateral and plans are in alignment with the business goals and objectives
+ Analyzes and guides the development of performance metrics and benchmarks to track and assess the effectiveness of assigned marketing plans to management and/or appropriate internal stakeholders\.
+ Leads and/or directs marketing projects from inception to execution including but not limited to: project planning, resource planning, change management and communications planning, managing changes to the project scope
+ Utilizes resources to ensure that marketing collateral is compliant with all applicable regulatory requirements and is consistent with Lincoln editorial and branding standards\.
Education
+ Undergraduate degree or 4\+ years of comparable work experience
Experience
+ 5\-7 years of experience in marketing and/or sales that directly aligns with the specific responsibilities for this position
+ Confident, comfortable communicator with strong written and verbal communication skills\.
+ Strong presentation skills with demonstrated ability to influence at all levels of management through clear, informed and logical discussions and presentations
+ Ability to read, analyze and interpret both internal and external documents such as general media/publications, professional journals, technical procedures, governmental regulations, policies, proposals, and standard operating procedures\.
+ Ability to analyze information and to evaluate the implications of a course of action or solution\.
+ Demonstrates the ability to use sound judgment and discretion regarding confidential information\.
+ Demonstrates excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload and multi\-task while maintaining strict attention to detail\.
+ Strong project management skills including, critical ability to coordinate and balance multiple projects in a time\-sensitive environment, under pressure, and meeting deadlines\.
+ Successfully completes regulatory and job training requirements\.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
