The Role
As the VP, Small Corporate Market, you will provide strategic leadership to achieve key business objectives within Retirement Plan Services \(RPS\) Product Solutions\. You will be responsible for developing and driving the RPS small market strategy and supports business growth through sales and retention of clients in identified\. You will also provide highly specialized expertise to senior internal and external stakeholders\.
+ Provides thought leadership and functional expertise to internal/external stakeholders
+ Contributes to business unit/operational and enterprise strategy creation
+ Leads/executes approved strategy for assigned area\(s\) of responsibility\.
+ Leads, initiates, and develops the highly complex business strategy for expansion into target markets while diversifying the business line product portfolio
+ Partners with Senior Management and uses highly specialized expertise to influence the strategic direction of competitive product management solutions for target markets
+ Defines and drives Market strategy and road\-map and ensures it fits within the overall Product Solutions and RPS strategy
+ Partners with pricing and business line leaders to analyze impacts of strategic solutions in identified target markets\.
+ Determines the direction for business line or functional area in the strategic solution selection/review process\.
+ Partners with internal stakeholders to ensure all investment solutions meet requirements of Product/Pricing
+ Serves as a key contributor and thought leader to the risk management process across his/her area of responsibility, analyzing potential impacts to LFG?s risk management programs, product pricing, business mix and assets under management
+ Solicits and collects input from senior management and other internal stakeholders regarding the direction of a strategy within the business line
+ Collaborates with Marketing leaders to accurately position all strategy solutions in an open and easy to understand manner that is consistent with goals of the enterprise
+ Enhances communications across distribution on managed risk investment solutions, working closely with Funds Management, Sales, Marketing, and Training to ensure transparency
+ Leads strategy to expand the pipeline of future products through innovation initiatives, identifying viable solutions in support of the strategic plan to diversify the business line product portfolio
+ Leads cross\-enterprise teams & collaborates in partnership with all appropriate stakeholders to provide the targeted distribution & market place product/service offerings & to position our product & service offerings with distinct competitive advantages
+ Provides training and development opportunities, including stretch assignments, for team members and gives honest and open feedback to aid in the development of talent
+ Leads, establishes and implements priorities, performance goals and objectives to achieve key business results
+ Guides and evaluates departmental performance and takes appropriate action to meet and/or exceed performance standards
+ Ensures that top talent is hired and retained
+ Builds organizational capability within assigned area\(s\) of responsibility
Business Acumen
+ Maintains knowledge on current and emerging developments/trends, assesses the impact, and collaborates with executive/senior management to incorporate new trends and developments in current and future strategies
+ Leads the identification, development, and implementation of strategic process improvements that significantly reduce workloads or improve quality across the team, business unit, and/or the organization
+ Leads and enhances organizational initiatives by positively influencing and supporting change management and/or departmental/enterprise initiatives

+ 4 Year/Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience \(4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor's\)
+ 12\+ Years retirement industry and product experience that directly aligns to the responsibilities of this role, including at least 5\+ years of management, strategy, and influencing senior management/critical stakeholders experience
+ Ability to read, analyze and interpret both internal and external documents such as general media/publications, professional journals, technical procedures, governmental regulations, policies, proposals, and standard operating procedures
+ Strong presentation skills with demonstrated ability to influence at all levels of management through clear, informed and logical discussions/presentations
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills
+ Advocates effectively, readily command attention and respect in groups as demonstrated by people listening to and getting on board with initiatives
+ Apply concepts such as probability, statistics, modeling, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical solutions

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
