The Role
The Sr\. Marketing Consultant \- Advisor Channel Marketing will develop and implement marketing plans and create materials that result in measurable business goals and drive market awareness of Lincoln?s annuity products and services with RIA advisors\.
This individual will have a focus on developing and driving complex omni channel marketing programs and will be responsible for understanding business and sales objectives, project planning, communications planning, managing changes to the project scope, stakeholder buy\-in\.
Responsibilities
+ Proactively develop strategic omni\-channel marketing strategies and programs which drive demand and measure the success \(print, media, digital, social\)
+ Partner with internal stakeholders including the creative services, digital, data & analytics and communications to ensure all marketing tools and programs are aligned to the strategic plans
+ Utilize market research and interpret data to build plans to optimize marketing
+ Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in Sales, Manufacturing, Relationship Management, IT and other areas of influence
+ Monitor and track the effectiveness of marketing initiatives and leverage data to employ a test and learn methodology to proactively improve future initiatives
+ Maintains knowledge on current and emerging developments/trends in marketing and the RIA marketplace, assesses the impact, and collaborates with management to incorporate new trends and developments in current and future solutions\.
+ Champions and enhances organizational initiatives by positively influencing and supporting change management and/or departmental/enterprise initiatives within assigned area\(s\) of responsibility\.
+ Serves as a resource and collaborates with internal stakeholders to develop and implement new marketing approaches which enhance and maintain the competitive position RIA annuities in marketplace\.
+ Communicates complex marketing plans and ensures they are understood by all stakeholders and team members\.
+ Ensures complex marketing collateral content is accurate, relevant, and consistent in terms of style, quality tone of voice, and which optimizes market awareness of Lincoln?s products and/or services\.
+ Utilizes resources to ensure more marketing collateral is compliant with all applicable regulatory requirements and consistent with Lincoln editorial and branding standards\.
+ Identifies and recommends solutions to complex marketing issues and/or concerns\.
+ Analyzes and guides the development of complex performance metrics and benchmarks to track and assess the effectiveness of assigned marketing plans to management and/or appropriate internal stakeholders\.
Education
+ Undergraduate degree or 4\+ years of comparable work experience
Experience
+ 5\-7 years of experience in the financial services industry that directly aligns with the specific responsibilities
+ Confident, comfortable communicator with strong written and verbal communication skills\.
+ Strong presentation skills with demonstrated ability to influence at all levels of management through clear, informed and logical discussions and presentations
+ Ability to read, analyze and interpret both internal and external documents such as general media/publications, professional journals, technical procedures, governmental regulations, policies, proposals, and standard operating procedures\.
+ Ability to analyze information and to evaluate the implications of a course of action or solution\.
+ Demonstrates the ability to use sound judgment and discretion regarding confidential information\.
+ Demonstrates excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload and multi\-task while maintaining strict attention to detail\.
+ Strong project management skills including, critical ability to coordinate and balance multiple projects in a time\-sensitive environment, under pressure, and meeting deadlines\.
+ Successfully completes regulatory and job training requirements\.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
