Mobile Examiner (Phlebotomist) -Sunbury, PA and surrounding areas

About the Opportunity:
The Examiner is responsible for completing production work including a variety of insurance and healthcare products, which could include but is not limited to, insurance exams, clinical trials studies and wellness events.
Essential Functions:
Position requires face-to-face interaction with insurance applicants to gather information including physical measurements, blood draws, and interviewing for risk assessment, which may be completed on laptop/tablet
Requires medical training to include phlebotomy skills with a minimum of 100 blood draws within the last 24 months (blood draws will be verified)
Complete Insurance exams
Process and ship specimens
Position can have appointments scheduled by the branch office, or examiner may schedule their own but may be required to perform on-call work, as the customer requires
Process and distribute paperwork
Status cases
Attend wellness events
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
Detail Oriented
Customer service skills
Basic computing skills, including internet
Good verbal and nonverbal communication
Ability to work independently
Ability to write legibly, daily handwritten work
Medical terminology knowledge
Ability to perform vital signs
Medical and phlebotomy experience required
Education Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Phlebotomy certification - preferred
Medical terminology certification - preferred
Vital signs certification
May require state specific license: CA and LA require license

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
