Data Architect
We're looking for a talented architect who will thrive in a small business environment with innovations and contributions to our industry leading SaaS solution. You will be a key player in Aria's data platform architecture and engineering team. In this role you will work with the latest distributed data systems to build the services that power Aria's monetization platform, scaling to serve some of the largest enterprises in finance, technology, and consumer services. You possess a high level of technical creativity, problem solving ability, software process and lifecycle expertise, great communication skills. You can work independently but are a coveted and respected team member. Successful candidates should enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and strive to succeed! This position will report directly to the Director of Architecture.
Responsibilities:
Determine requirements for new data stores, managing trade-offs between product, business, and technical requirements Identifying areas for improvement in current systems Presenting design reports to architecture team, engineering, operations, and other stakeholders Coordinating with team members to reach project milestones and deadlines Auditing database and query design to maintain quality Creating new systems to manage data securely Troubleshooting issues with new and existing data stores. Qualifications:
Degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent additional experience 5
years of experience in DBA, Data Scientist, or similar role Excellent knowledge and experience of both OLTP and OLAP systems Deep knowledge of multiple SQL and No SQL data stores Solid knowledge of data migration/replication from one data store to another using open source (preferable) or proprietary CDC tool with no or limited downtime Familiar with at least one of the three major cloud platforms:
AWS, Azure, GCP Working knowledge of developing and deploying data and/or machine learning pipelines in a data lake environment Familiar with at least one ML library:
Scikit-learn, Spark ML, PyTorch, TensorFlow, etc. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Salary Range:
$100K -- $150K
Minimum Qualification
